Following a Catastrophic Event : How to Apply New Technologies Learning in Islamic Religious Education During the Covid 19 Pandemic

Covid-19 has provided an opportunity for Islamic education to advance ICT. Mainly when Industry 5.0 accelerates. This essay discusses the use of technology in Islamic religious instruction after the epidemic. Can educators use technology to improve and maintain the quality of education? This research is a type of qualitative field research study using the interview method. Researchers analyzed and minimized data. Following the pandemic, Islamic Education instructors' technical skills improved, according to this study. As a result of this research, it is also known that optimizing the use of digital platforms such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Classroom, and YouTube according to students' needs and instructional materials enhances students' creativity in innovating the learning process.
