Abstract

Education is one of the keys to the progress of a nation. To achieve good quality education, appropriate educational planning is needed. Planning is a very important management function. Therefore, to improve quality in an educational institution, planning has a crucial position in the entire educational process. In this research article, researchers will specifically analyze the urgency of educational planning in improving the development and quality of education at SD IT Insan Cendikia Insani Tebingtinggi City. In this study, the method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. From the results of the observations and discussion above, it can be concluded that planning is the first thing that must be prepared, just as before diving, it is the first thing that must be prepared, such as clothing and swimming equipment, especially in self-education, planning is an urgent matter. To achieve the desired educational goals, every program or activity that will be carried out must begin with the planning stage. Whether the activities to be carried out smoothly or not depends on how a plan is drawn up. And of course when the planning process involves the role of the school principal, school committee, and teaching staff so that the results are more acceptable and transparent.
